Streams
Beginners Stream
Admission to Beginners Italian will be limited to students who have no knowledge or very little knowledge of Italian.
Intermediate Stream
The intermediate stream is usually only available to students who have undertaken four to five years of secondary school Italian, normally to Year 11, or an approved equivalent. It is not available to those who have sat for VCE Italian or equivalent.
Post-VCE Italian Stream
For admission to the Post-VCE Italian stream students should normally have obtained a pass in the VCE Italian examination or its equivalent.
